What are °µÍø³Ô¹Ï student chapters?
°µÍø³Ô¹Ï maintains student chapters to serve the intellectual and professional interests of students pursuing a career in the field of aerosol research. °µÍø³Ô¹Ï is a nonprofit organization for scientists and engineers who wish to promote and communicate technical advances in the field of aerosol research. Applications are accepted from student groups at the college/university undergraduate and graduate level.

Resources for active student chapters
Are you interested in hosting a special event? We have supplemental funds available up to $500 that will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please fill out this and email the Chair of the Early Career Committee to let them know you have submitted a request.

What are the benefits of having a student chapter at your college/university?
Networking opportunities: Hold chapter meetings to facilitate connection within your local aerosol science community and attend the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Annual Conference to meet scientists from around the world.
Keep up to date with the latest research and issues in aerosol research: receive electronic complementary subscriptions to Aerosol Science & Technology, our monthly journal.
Receive funding for chapter events and activities: °µÍø³Ô¹Ï provides some funding, on an annual basis, to student chapters. °µÍø³Ô¹Ï also may provide additional funding for special events. Availability of funds may change each year and will be communicated to the student chapters through the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Early Career Committee.
